Republic - late 16th century: from French république, from Latin respublica, from res ‘entity, concern’ + publicus ‘of the people, public.’
Sovereign - Middle English: from Old French soverain, based on Latin super ‘above.’; a supreme ruler, especially a monarch
Fascism - The Italian term fascismo is derived from fascio meaning a bundle of rods, ultimately from the Latin word fasces. The Fascists came to associate the term with the ancient Roman fasces or fascio littorio—a bundle of rods tied around an axe, an ancient Roman symbol of the authority of the civic magistrate carried by his lictors, which could be used for corporal and capital punishment at his command.
Communism - mid 19th century: from French communisme, from commun; belonging to, open to, or affecting the whole of a community or the public
Socialism - the Latin sociare, which means to combine or to share
Trump keeps talking about the US being a "sovereign" nation, meaning that he is the monarch, the supreme ruler.
Other politicians have claimed the US is a "democracy", meaning there are no representatives. The additions of 'direct' and 'indirect' democracy are not had in the original meaning.
Notice that both Communism and Socialism by definition are not "bad". It is the propaganda of the US and the alteration of such governments by actual Communist and Socialist run governments into Fascism. The Nazi Fascist movement of Germany was founded on the principle that Communism was an "evil threat". Notice that the US too justifies building our national security over the principles of freedom because of the "Communist" threat and since President Bush we've included a "War on Terrorism" now that Communists have demonstrated there is no real threat. We the US are the actual threat as a Fascist government entity by definition.
