Travis Wayne Goodsell's opinions on a variety of subjects and topics
Well done Alabama. Moore was not tried in a Court of Law to find out before the elections if he was guilty or innocent, so you had a Democratic Election rather than a Republican Election and by this I don't mean you chose a Democrat or a Republican. A Democracy is a government of the opinions and feelings of the people. A Republic is a government that would have required a Trial to determine criminal guilt or innocence before proceeding with the election. Now we will have to wonder if Moore's accusers will stay the course and follow through with their accusations with Moore being kept out of Office. Will we ever know the truth? Remember President Trump's accusers went silent after Trump won, but now they are back after seeing how effective simply making an accusation with no real intent on a trial can destroy the life, career and reputation of a man in power can do. Yes many of the accused confessed to a limited guilt and have been fired or resigned, but what about those who do not plead guilty? Where is their speedy trial to protect them from false accusations? Trump is different only because he is an exposed liar. Trump now claims to have never known any of his accusers despite their having been on his TV show, his businesses, his Pageants, etc. and have documented and pictorial evidence exposing Trump's lies. But Trump still should have been dealt with in Court before the Election. Since Nixon the Executive has built up the Presidency into a Monarchy which we can no longer dethrone. Democracy is not the answer; a Republic is the answer. We need a Constitutional Revolution!
