I received a comment from my blog post page today about my additions to next week's Old Testament Lesson for Sunday School. This person said all nice words, but this person was a sheep in wolves clothing because this person's comments were sarcastic. This person is typical of Mormons who believe that all our manuals and scripture footnoting and referencing are "approved" by the Brethren, meaning they have examined them personally and that the manuals and footnotes, etc. are perfect and infallible as if they are the Word of God. Some Mormons may even believe that the Brethren created the manuals. I'm going to dispel this myth once and for all with some questions for Mormons:
1. How many of you have gone through each and every single footnote in the whole Quad, looking up each and every single reference?
2. If you have, then how many of you have gone through each and every single reference in each and every single manual that the Church has?
3. If you have, then I ask: How long did it take you to do all that?
