Weebly has either started a new online store program or they just revised it, but I've upgraded my site to become a business to provide all of my books in a digital format to, as Weebly claims, all the world, which is larger than the coverage of Amazon. Such that those of you from non-Amazon countries who are viewing my site should be able to obtain my books. And I can include publications that were too short for Amazon and I'm hoping I'll be able to provide books too long for Amazon. In the pdf format you should be able to see the ancient fonts on your computer after downloading, something that was difficult to do on Amazon. And I should be able to provide pictures with my books that won't affect the cost.
I have to charge a minimum of $.35 because the companies I use to take your payment charge me $.30 + 2.9%, but that is still cheaper than Amazon's minimum cost. If you use a credit or debit card you have to spend a minimum of $1 or the company won't accept your purchase, whereas Paypal will take it under $1.
All my Egyptian friends from Facebook will now be able to purchase my Egyptian works, which I'm planning to include language lessons and translations of Egyptian as well as the other languages I started but didn't complete as fully as I did with Paleo-Hebrew.
This is an exciting and big day for me and I hope for you as well. I'll be spending all weekend uploading the books and hopefully all goes well. I've tested to see if the books can be bought and downloaded and once I figured out the technical details it works perfectly. I'll need to remember to provide 6x9 versions to view on your phone or tablets. I'm assuming it will work for both Windows or Apple.
From a typewriter in 7th grade to a Weebly online store, just incredible!
Oh, I'll be taking off my Egyptian, Paleo-Hebrew and Opinion pages, but I'll transform them into another book(s). So I have a big work load that just got dumped on me, let the REVOLUTION begin.
